April really is the time of year when hope returns to the Prairies-- the snow has melted, the gophers have returned, and the kids are finally out of the house and playing outside every chance they get. Kaylie is in seventh heaven as she fearlessly braves the wind and the slides! Connor has brought his orange rubber boots out of retirement, along with the sand toys. And Emily is playing soccer at school and helping Grandma plant flowers.
We spent Easter break in Alberta and are now in the spring swing of things. I've been clearing out some of the cluttered corners and thinking about gardening which is on the horizon. Spring work is also around the corner-- which I enjoy about as much as a root canal done without anethsetic. Kent on the other hand is grinning from ear to ear!
